As digital agencies grow exponentially, I love to coin a buzzword – and embrace new platforms. In this fast moving tech revolution are we ignoring one of our most important assets, often referred to as the guys in the basement. At the companies I’ve worked for, the dev teams were mostly situated in the basement or rear of the building. No idea why.
For a long time I’ve dreamt of an agency that doesn’t follow the hierarchical format of some of the agencies I’ve worked for in the past. Don’t get me wrong, I love those agencies and enjoyed working for them. Having said that, I’ve noticed a common theme that I consider to be a weakness amongst them. I call it the All-Stars issue.
